II would like to nominate Carla Lima who teaches in South East London. She has only recently started running classes in the area but has already made an impressive impact! I think her success is down to her fun and relaxed teaching style. She is always so enthusiastic, friendly and energetic that it makes the classes so enjoyable. I usually join Carla on a Monday evening in Lewisham and knowing I get to jump around to great music with a super positive and passionate Zumba instructor at the end of the day makes getting through a long Monday at work so much easier! I have no rhythm and really can’t dance but in Carla’s classes it doesn’t matter! If I get my feet in a mess or can’t get my arms to move in time with my legs it doesn’t matter, as Carla makes the classes all about enjoying yourself and just giving it a go, which is what makes Zumba so much better than any other exercise class I have been too. I have always hated exercise classes as I end up getting so bored. But Carla’s classes are fun and dynamic and I now can’t wait to go to my Zumba class with her! I have also met lots of ladies who live in my local area through the classes which is brilliant as often, as in many big cities, you don’t even know who your neighbours are, let alone the people in the next street, but through the classes I now know the names of many people in my local area which is wonderful! Carla just brings lots of positivity and fun to Monday evenings in Lewisham and I really appreciate her fantastic upbeat attitude. You can see she absolutely loves Zumba and therefore we all do too! |
